The SongTree will provide more opportunities for songwriters and acoustic performers to share their art. Click SongTree for more details and guidelines.

We will again have the Blissfest Community Chorus  this year. The Chorus  will meet a couple of times to work out a couple of songs and then perform on Main Stage on Sunday. We will also add bells this year. This has been a tradition at a lot of Canadian Festivals and we are making it a tradition too. Some singing experience is suggested. We will do simple songs with easy harmonies.

More of What’s Happening at Blissfest 2005

Its is hard to believe that we are sharing the 25th annual Blissfest roots music, dance camp and basking in all the diversity and creative energy that Blissfest has to offer yet again. Who would a thunk it that we would still be blissing around 25 years after.

This year features an extravaganza of retro-neauvou Pure Bliss. We will have lots of music and dance performance and workshops with ample opportunities to participate. Check out the craft area and the food area. Artists in there own right and in there own media. The kids will love the kids area so visit is often.

New this year: We are inaugurating a new Healing Arts Area at Blissfest. This area is located across from the solar shower and will house traditional and contemporary healing arts. Look for the onsite shuttle wagon to help get you around featuring the original Blissfest Stage Canvas for a top. We also have added a new Sound Garden near the Kids Area. This is a work in progress and will grow as we grow. The garden will be a place for natural sounds and people made instruments that are simple yet eloquent.

New Special Activities: We have decided it is time to start a new tradition that is long ovr due. We are adding a Best Dressed Camp Competition to the festival. Dress up your camp in full Blissfest regalia and don’t be surprised if our panel of judges stop by for a gander. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers. We are also going to bury a Time Capsule that will be unearthed in 2026. What do you want in it?. Donations accepted at the Raffle Booth. On Saturday, join the BlissFolks for a Peace Circle in the Back 40 Area (south of the Drum Kiva). We will take positions along the Peace Sign for an ariel photo at 12:30.
