1. What is included with the price of my ticket?
A. Admission to the festival, with access to all three stages, as well as other workshop tents. Some of the take home craft workshops require a very small fee, usually $5 for materials.
2. Does camping cost extra?
A. Yes. Camping is extra and is priced per vehicle, not person. Price includes all three nights camping
3. Do I have to pay extra for "special workshops" at the festival?
A. Only some of the small craft workshops. Music workshops are fee.
4. If I am under 18 and want to come to the festival, what can I do?
You can attend during the day but you can not stay overnight without adult
supervision. This means your parent or guardian or adult family member must be in
attendance and you need to camp with them.
5. How much do tickets cost?
A. Prices vary depending on when you buy and if you are a member of the organization. Prices are listed on the ticket page. Earlybird prices are available only for members and for a limited time (April 30,2008). Remember Blissfest members get a discount.
6. Can I buy a ticket for just one day?
A. Yes, you can. But you are NOT allowed to camp with a day
ticket and must leave festival grounds by 1 a.m. on the day of your purchased
ticket.
6a. Can I Camp Sat. night only
A. It depends on if the campground is full of weekend ticket
holders. There are usually some camp sites left on Sat. afternoon but you take
your chances. You will still have to pay for a camping pass for the night at
$25/vehicle.
7. What time do the gates open?
A. Gates open at 10 a.m. on the Friday of the festival. You may not camp along the road in your car Thurs. night. The lineup starts at daybreak. There are other camping options in the area Thurs. night. See the accommodations page on the web site. Please be advised to remain on the side of the road and do not block the road. Please do not intend to start lining up any earlier than daybreak.
8. Do you allow refunds for tickets?
A. Tickets are Non-refundable except in certain situations. You may fill out a refund request and we will consider refunds on a case by case basis after the festival. Refund request forms are available at the main gate and the info booth at the festival or call the office at 231-348-7047.
9. Are there vendors that sell food and/or arts and crafts?
A. Yes, we have many wonderful vendors. There are many food vendors, as well as a lovely arts and crafts section. We also have a healing artists section for modalities such as massage therapy, intuitive arts, etc.
10. Can I bring my own food and drink? And are alcoholic beverages allowed?
A. Yes.
11. May I pleeeease bring my dog?
A. No. We are sorry, but you may not bring any pets to the festival.
12. Can I bring my bike to Blissfest?
A. Yes.
13. What options do I have in purchasing tickets to Blissfest?
A. You may purchase tickets over the internet, by mail-in form, you may call our office or visit one of our many ticket outlets. We accept visa, mastercard and discover cards and personal checks by mail prior to the festival.
14. Are tickets unlimited or do you only allow so many tickets to be sold?
A. We have a maximum of 4,500 paid tickets per day. This includes daily and weekend tickets.
