The Country Dance Series is a great way to experience an evening of old-Time fun for the whole family. All dances are taught and there is a live band and caller. The Blissfest Music Organization continues to present this series as part of our commitment to sharing cultural heritage and providing a great way to socialize like folks used to do.
All Dances $3/person, $5/couple or $7/family and are held on the first Saturday of the month. Call 348-7047 for more information. All dances are taught and children are welcome. Dance beging at 7:30pm and there is also a jam session for new players at 6:30

Swing Dance Series
Jan. 9 and Jan. 23 are the next scheduled dances.
A great way to experience the magic of the 30's and 40's big band sound and the dance styles popularized by the music. Lindy and jitterbug Dances styles are taught as well as other ballroom styles and the Up North Big Band provides music with an 18 piece Big Band at the historic Rustic Ballroom in Walloon Lake, MI. The Blissfest Music Organization supports this series as part of our commitment to sharing cultural heritage and providing a great way to socialize like folks used to before T.V. Beginners are welcome with instruction starting at 6:45pm. Dances are $10/ adult, $6 / Under 18 and free under 5.The Up North Swing Band is a Community based group of musicians dedicated to the preservation osf Big Band Swing Music.
