The Blissfest Music Organization was established in 1981 to foster and promote traditional and multicultural folk and roots music, dance and crafts; to support creators and innovators of these arts and to encourage year round community participation in cultural heritage programming.
We are able to present traditional and folk arts in the community and promote cultural heritage and cultural tourism events, in part, because of the generous gifts from supporters like you.
The Blissfest Music Organization strives to enhance the quality of life in our community throughout the year with edu-tainment programs using folk and traditional arts to emphasize history and heritage with music and dance skill development. Along with our award winning annual festival, we present cultural recreation programs such as Ukes for Youth and an old time country and swing dance series that reach hundreds of folks monthly. In addition we present monthly concerts at the Crooked Tree Arts Center, produce the Harbor Springs Street Musique and the Annual Robert Emmet Society Programs, a well as collaborate with local, schools, historical societies and libraries to keep northern Michigan a great place to live and visit.
